State-of-Mexico-style Barbecue. A very simple and humble establishment but the food is delicious. The flavor is as authentic as it gets. They sell tacos as well as half pounds and pounds of meat. The food comes with all the condiments (onion, cilantro, peppers, etc.) separately (in plastic bags). I am pretty sure it's CASH ONLY. They also sell consome (meat's broth), fresh waters, orange juice and flans. There are several long tables with benches to sit on. Their parking area is small but fits about 3 or 4 cars parked in parallel. Everything we ordered was really good. Do not expect a restaurant. However, the taste of the food is pretty authentic and delicious. IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO PREPARE YOUR PLATE after they bring you your food: You basically place some of the meat in a plate/tortilla, squeeze some lime juice in it, add some chopped onion and cilantro and add as much salsa as you'd like. Lastly, add a little consommé to your mix and voila, you've got an authentically prepared Mexican barbacoa plate/taco! Take a look at some of my pictures. I'm coming back to this place! Barbacoa, State of Mexico style. Delicious. They sell barbacoa by the taco and by weight (half pounds and pounds). Be prepared to pay in cash. They also have consommé, aguas frescas, orange juice, and flan. This is a very simple place with several long tables and benches. The seating area is covered, but that's about it. They have parking, and about 3 or 4 cars can fit side-by-side (not tandem). All the food was delicious. They serve everything separately in little bags. Don't expect a restaurant, but the flavor is authentic and delicious. I would eat here again.
